Life presents all of us with many challenges, obstacles and limitations which threaten to block our progression or achieve our God-given destinies in life and often frustrate our future. Limits on our budget, when we desire Gucci and Armani but can only afford less at this stage. Limits on our careers or business success, because society at large has placed a glass ceiling on WHO we are and WHAT we can achieve

limits in our personal lives because of the role society has placed upon us and the “norms” we are challenged to conform to, limits in our relationships because of the stresses and pressures life imposes on us. I’m sure you can relate to what I am saying in one respect or another.

The good news is, you have a choice: You can choose to accept and bow down to these limitations OR you can choose to break them. Being a victim of a hijacking in 2007 challenged me with the limit of fear, my choice was to embrace the truth, process the facts, implement the changes necessitated and MOVE FORWARD. What you SEE for yourself is always an indicator of what you will RECEIVE for yourself. Irrespective of the trials and tribulations you may face in life, you can determine to do one of two things: You could allow the circumstances you face in your environment in life to affect YOU, OR you can determine to impact/affect YOUR environment.

As women, we have inherited a trait which has been part of our DNA for generations, we are often willing to take a step back and put the needs of everyone else ahead of our own. I don’t suggest that you become self centered, but I do encourage you to be ALL YOU WERE CREATED TO BE, if you don’t believe in yourself and your VISION, no one else will. Determine to reach deeper, think bigger, go higher , and break limits of conformity in your life. Allow the challenges you currently face to develop strength of character and build a tenacity to overcome the mountains you face along this journey called life.

Ask yourself if you have positioned your life to serve purpose or are you simply meeting the status quo? Are you currently on the road which leads to the realization of your vision or dream, or are you simply accepting opportunities merely because they present themselves, never understanding whether they are taking you CLOSER TO or further AWAY from what you hope to achieve in life? Settle it in your heart, that you will not become a statistic of the countless souls who have gone before us, who buried their dreams six feet below the earth, without utilizing the gifts, talents and abilities they were given to make a difference in this world.

YOU are a DESTINY CHANGER and LIMIT BREAKER and with the right vision, right skills, right level of determination and a FAITH to believe, you CAN and WILL succeed! Reflect on these thoughts , that there is ALWAYS time to CHANGE and  with God ALL things are possible.

Make a decision today, choose to live life with purpose and make your mark in society. Be all you can be!
