It all starts with an idea
If you have an idea which you think will benefit the world in ways unimaginable, then go ahead and make that idea tangible! Many ideas start small an given time and effort, grows bigger and better.
Discuss your idea with like-minded individuals & hear what they have to say. They might want to contribute or offer you advice on how to go about it. Don’t be afraid to TRY, set yourself up for the challenges & obstacles but never for failure.
Have a “S.M.A.R.T” Plan
With the goals you set in life, you should always follow the SMART rule:
• S Be SPECIFIC about what you want to do with your business, what you aim to achieve & why.
• M It should be MEASURABLE, track the progress of when & where you started and what you need to reach your goals.
• A Your goals must be ATTAINABLE, point out what is important to you and how you will go about achieving it.
• R It has to be REALISTIC, your idea can only take full form once it is realistic enough to execute. So think out of the box but still within budget & reach.
• T TIME MANAGEMENT is key; you have to plan everything within a certain time frame. This way you can monitor the progress as well as the urgency of your vision taking shape.
Put it in writing
A great idea will remain just that if it isn’t put into words. Put it on paper and watch it take life. Once you’re positive about your idea and where it could go, you need to set up a business plan or business proposal.
Start communicating with people that can assist you and guide you by offering advice and insight. These individuals are normally the ones who are first to invest, once they see the potential you and your idea possesses.
Start making it happen
Contemplating about being an entrepreneur/boss should be enough motivation to want it to make it happen. Putting the plan in motion is what will drive that motivation into determination. When you are determined to get things done you will execute every written line stated in your Business Plan and you WILL Succeed.
The words of Anita Roddick- “To succeed you have to believe in something with such a passion that it becomes a reality” should be enough to get you started!
