Kissmea Naude

Inspiring Woman of the Month

Growing up on the Cape Flats surrounded by gangsterism, drugs and teenage pregnancy, Kissmea had the drive from a young age to achieve more than what was expected from her.

After working in corporate for a few years and finding the glass ceiling rather quickly, she decided to go into business for herself and make her own rules for success.

She started a pest control business out of a small flat in Mowbray in 1994 and soon found that personal service & commitment gained her many happy clients who remain clients to date.

She has the ability to overcome complex business challenges and makes high stakes decisions using experience-backed judgment, strong work ethic and irreproachable integrity. Respected as a proponent of empowerment and accountability she is passionate about service.

Kissmea’s consistent record of delivering extraordinary results in growth and revenue, operational performance and profitability has allowed her to have a sustainable business over the years; despite the harsh economic climate.

Driven by a visceral “hard wired” need to strategize, to innovate, and to disprove the words “it can’t be done”; she has managed to shake the foundations of businesses that are stuck in inefficient processes.

Her respect for human capital has given her loyal, dedicated staff that she trusts as the face of her business in her customer’s day to day interactions.

Kissmea is a Business Analyst and shareholder of Hummingbird Professional Consulting and she is the Managing Director of Bluedot Facilities Company.

She completed 2 years at the MBA Business School of Netherlands, holds a Diploma in Strategic Management, Certificate in Marketing Management, a Diploma in Public Relations.
