5. The Last Five Years
One of the most romantic movies to watch this Valentine’s Day and expressed to be one of the best musicals of the year. This movie follows the story of a struggling actress, Cathy, and her novelist lover, Jamie. This story is told through the eyes of each partner, Jamie playing out the story from beginning to end and Cathy in the opposite direction. When love ends, the only way to understand it is to go back to the beginning.
