1. Classic Eggnog
For classic eggnog, beat the 6 egg yolks in a large bowl until pale and thick. Beat in 3/4 cup of fine sugar slowly. Then whisk in 2 cups milk and 2 cups of heavy cream. Mix in 1/2 cup bourbon, 1/4 cup dark rum and 1/4 cup Cognac. Cover and refrigerate for up to a day.
Before serving, beat the whites until the peaks are stiff and fold it into the eggnog. Whisk 1 cup of the same heavy cream until the peaks are stiff and also fold it into the eggnog. Sprinkle with nutmeg and you’re done.
2. Cranberry Wine Puree
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Place the 2 cups of fresh cranberries in a large skillet and put aside. Bring 1 cup maple syrup, 2 cups dry red wine, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 vanilla bean seeds, 1/2 strips of lemon zest, 2 teaspoons crushed pink peppercorns and a pinch of salt to a boil in a medium saucepan. Pour over the cranberries and cover tightly with foil and bake for 10 minutes.
Transfer the berries to a bowl, cover with one cup of the liquid and let it cool. Bring the 1/2 of the liquid and the 2/3 cup sugar to a boil in a saucepan until the sugar has dissolved. Reduce to low and simmer for 6 minutes. Pour through a sieve into a medium bowl and let cool. Puree the remaining 40 berries and place the other 10 on skewers. Place a quarter of the puree and the syrup in glasses and fill with ice.
3. The Mistletoe
For this drink you’ll need, tonic water, 1 oz. Svedka Cherry and a splash of sour mix. Combine all the ingredients in a tall glass and garnish with a rosemary sprig and cranberry. To make another drink called the mistletoe mistress you’ll need 1 small scoop raspberry sorbet, ¾ parts SVEDKA Strawberry Colada and a splash of champagne. Build these in a few glasses and then garnish with a strawberry slice.
4. Christmas Punch
No Christmas Party is complete without a punch. First you’ll need to combine 1 cup chilled cranberry juice 2 cups chilled pomegranate juice, 1 cup vodka, 1 cup Cointreau, 1 cup chilled club soda, 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (from 6 lemons)and 1/2 cup Simple Syrup in a punch bowl. Serve in glasses and freeze the cranberries to use as ice cubes.
5. Rudolph the Red Nosed
For a drink to warm your heart why not make this one? You’ll need 3/4 ounce cinnamon schnapps, 1/2 ounce vodka, 6 ounces cranberry juice and 1/2 ounce orange curacao. Heat the juice until hot. Pour everything else in a coffee mug and slowly add in the hot juice. Then top it with cream and garnish with sprinkles.
6. Candy Cane Cosmos
For this drink you’ll need to freeze martini glasses for 5 minutes. Cut 1 lime into quarters and run a quarter around the rim of the glasses. Then spread some sugar on a plate and dip the rim in it. Fill half a cocktail shaker with ice, then add 4 ounces vanilla vodka, 4 ounces cranberry juice and 1 ounce peppermint schnapps. Shake for about 20 seconds and strain into the glasses, hanging 1 candy cane on the edge of each.
