Warm, crispy waffles are just the indulgence you need. In honor of the international Waffle Day on the 25th of March, we want to treat you with the best waffle recipe in the world. Really, it was given the title by the Norwegian Church Abroad three years in a row. The recipe was discovered by a little boy who claimed that they were “even better
than his grandmother’s.” Say no more!

Ingredients
2 eggs
100 ml sugar
200 ml buttermilk
150 ml condensed milk
100 ml water
350 g flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp cardamom
125 g melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your waffle iron and melt the butter.
- Mix together all the dry ingredients in a large bowl (sugar, flour, baking powder, baking soda and cardamom).
- Beat the eggs in a separate bowl and add the buttermilk, condensed milk, water, vanilla and butter. Mix it all together and pour it into the dry mixture.
- Cook the waffles in the waffle iron until they are perfectly golden and crispy.
